Gunilla Klingberg 2000, Video

The video consists of logotypes from different supermarkets. The logos are animated, flowing into one another in a kaleidoscopic pattern, which moves like a mandala. The choice of logos is different depending on where the work is shown (in Germany, for example, it consisted of spar, lidl, aldi etc.), and is meant to mirror its surroundings. Shown as a projection in a room with seat cushions.

Gunilla Klingberg was born in 1966 in Stockholm. During her studies at University college of arts, crafts and design in Stockholm, she was a member of the group Swede, which organised projects at Galleri Ynglingagatan. Since her graduation in 1997, she has worked as an artist, often in collaboration with the artist Peter Geschwind. Their latest work represented Sweden at the Triennial in New Delhi.
