I've become addicted to the endorphin rush that is the result of a good work-out. One that lasts about an hour and gets you in your target zone- 200 minus your age=heart-rate to shoot for x 20 minutes. I joined a gym that feels comfortable-not too much lycra-located btwn home and work. I love the feeling of driving home relaxed and calm from the endorphins that are released after a good work out.I find it helps me in all aspects of life. I can also eat pretty much whatever I want-though there is always room for improvement here. I do this 3x a week-rest is just as important as exercise. My routine includes 4 miles on a recumbent bike, followed by 25 to 30 minutes of weight machines followed by a cool down treadmill walk for 15-20 minutes.
